Chimonobambusa tumidinoda

Hardiness: to - 18°C
Height: 2 m/ 3 m
Diameter: 1,5 cm

It is a very pretty bamboo with narrow soft-green leaves.
The culms are easy to recognize because the thickness of the nodes is almost twice as much as the one of the canes. It is for this reason that it is called "bamboo pagoda" by the Chinese.
It appreciates acid and humus-rich soils and semi-shade.
It is invasive.
